Throughout my career, I’ve had the pleasure of exploring a bounty of food—and yes, heaps of cheese—through travel. Tasting my way through a region is the best way for me to connect to a culture. New flavors spark conversation, and storytelling ensues. Beyond describing what something tastes like, I love sharing how I felt in a specific moment: what moved me, who I was with, what scents filled the air. When I travel, sitting down for a meal is so much more than what flavors I tasted. Though, that’s undoubtedly a big slice of the experience. For me, it’s about using all of my senses to connect to a place.

That’s really why Fare Routes was founded: to explore the journey through food.
